2019 Spokane city General election candidate recommendations

The primary election whittled the candidate pool down to the top two in each race. The general election is Nov. 5.

This election season, we're picking our top two candidates for each office for your consideration. We reached out to all the candidates and asked them to complete a questionnaire. Their answers helped to guide us in our choices. We also took a look at the electability of each candidate.

NOTE: If they did not return the questionnaire to us with their answers, we did not consider them for potential recommendations. The response we received was good--we heard from 15 of 24 candidates.

We welcome and look forward to hearing your feedback surrounding these candidates. To make the best choices, we must hear from you! Email Tobby Hatley with your comments.
